Position is Associate Consulting supporting risk management data-driven projects across client engagements. Responsibilities include analyzing Compliance and Operational data using Excel, performing data extractions and transformations using data analytics and computer-based coding languages, and reporting analysis outcomes.
Candidates are expected to apply core skills in comparing, assessing and analyzing operational & financial risk information.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large financial datasets to detect risk trends.
- Risk Modeling: Assist in building and testing market, credit, and operational risk models.
- Reporting: Assist in drafting clear risk assessment reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
- Regulatory Compliance: Research financial regulations like BSA/AML rules, Dodd-Frank, or US based federal /state equivalents.
- Client Support: Participate in client workshops to document business processes and risk controls.
- Quality Assurance: Validate financial data inputs to ensure risk model accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management & Systems, Statistics.
- Experience: 0–1 year of experience (relevant internships in finance or analytics preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and basic SQL, Python, or R.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and solve abstract problems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams. Fluency in International languages including Korean and Mandarin preferred.
